SERVICE
Almost all of our guests arrive at our outfitting base on White Iron Lake the afternoon before their trip is to start. After introducing our staff, we go over your canoe trip with you on the waterproof maps that we furnish. We will also show you where items are located in the packs.

Your staff person has the time available to help you learn anything you feel you need to know about the wilderness as well. After this, we will give you your pack or packs for your personal gear and show you to your overnight accommodations where you can pack your personal gear. Then you can take time to fish, swim, take a canoe out for some last minute practice, talk, or just relax. In the morning after breakfast (served at 7:00 a.m. except for Quetico fast launch reservations that are served at 6:00 a.m.) we will help you load your canoe, packs and personal gear in one of our vans to transport you to your entry point.

FREE OFFER
We offer completely outfitted guests and qualifying partially outfitted guests bunkhouse overnight accommodations and breakfast before their trip starts at no charge.

Because of this offer, most guests arrive the afternoon before their trip is to start. This gives us time to explain many things they'll need to know to have a fantastic wilderness canoe trip. This also gives our guests time to take canoes out for some last minute practice or instruction, or just to relax after traveling up here.

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS
We offer overnight accommodations before your canoe trip to all completely outfitted guests and to qualifying partially outfitted guests. These are bunkhouse accommodations . . . bunk beds, sleeping bags, and separate rooms for each party. If you desire overnight bunkhouse accommodations after your trip, please so indicate on the reservation form.

For guests desiring a modern housekeeping cabin or a lodgeroom in our new lodge, these are available before or after your trip. (See reservation form for current rates.) Reservation for cabins or lodgeroom should be made when you send in your canoe outfitting reservation.

SHOWERS AND PARKING
Before or after your canoe trip, completely outfitted guests are welcome to use our shower house at no charge, partially outfitted guests are welcome to use our shower house for a fresh towel fee of $1.00 each.

Parking is free with complete outfitting or qualifying partially outfitted guests. We have never had any problems with vandalism or theft in our parking area.

FAST LAUNCH SERVICE
Outdoor Adventure offers fast launch service to Prairie Portage, Ensign Portage, Washington Island, Back Bay Portage, Crab Lake Portage (across Burntside Lake) and to or from our base to the Kawishiwi River. This service saves our customers about 3 hours of paddling to Prairie Portage, about 6 hours to Washington Island, 7 1/2 hours to Back Bay Portage, 1 to 2 hours to Crab Portage, and about 2 hours to the Kawishiwi River. For guests going into Crooked Lake for its fantastic fishing, the fast launch service enables them to reach Crooked Lake in one full day. In addition, we offer Tow Service with the 16’ Deep V Lund tow boats on rough and windy days as well as the 19’ Jon Tow boat when there is little wind.

YOUTH GROUPS
Outdoor Adventure offers special rates for groups of eight or more Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, YMCA, YWCA, church, school, college or university groups, or other youth groups. Our group outfitting is the very finest available since we use exactly the same equipment for our groups as we do in our other outfitting. Call or write for our group rate brochure and price.

ADULT GROUPS
We also offer special rates to groups of eight or more adults. If your group numbers eight or more, write or call for this special rate.

FOR FISHING ENTHUSIASTS
The Quetico-Superior canoe country is truly a fisherman's paradise. The hundreds of drinking water lakes teem with walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike, lake trout, and pan fish. Fishing is at its peak during early June and early September.
