Canoe DELUXE AND ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT PACKAGES
Outdoor Adventure offers you the option of two great outfitting packages - Deluxe Outfitting or Ultra-lightweight Outfitting. Both our packages include our 1000 denier coated Cordura Nylon Canoe Packs made right here in Ely by folks who know how packs need to be made to hold up in the northwoods.

Padded foam backs, sternum straps, hip belts and side compression straps make for a custom fit. They'll help leave your mind free on those portage trails to wonder at your surroundings instead of focusing on the finish line. We also offer Base Camp Fishing Trips, a package in a league of its own, for those groups interested in that type of trip.

DELUXE OUTFITTING
Our Deluxe Outfitting Package includes everything you'll need for your BWCAW or Quetico Park visit. This is our "Old Standby" package, equipment that has been time tested in the canoe country for years. Standards like Eureka's A-frame Timberline tents, with reinforced floor and zippers to hold up to day-in, day-out use. Then there's the Alumacraft 17’ and 18’ lightweight canoes weighing 65-70 lbs, or choose the 17’ Voyageur canoe weighing in at only 56 lbs.

Slumberjack’s self-inflating sleeping pads, fast-drying Qualofil or Holofil Everest elite sleeping bags, or Wiggys Lamalite bags (for spring and fall trips), will keep you cozy even on those chilly nights. Kevlar ULTRALIGHT OUTFITTING
For our guests that want to move farther, faster and lighter, or just want to try some of the new, innovative gear that is available today - we offer you our top-of-the-line Ultralight Outfitting package.

With this package you'll be cutting your total weight by as much as 30-40%. Simply put, it doesn't get any better than this! You'll be using the Sierra Designs Comet Outfitter Dome style tents, also with reinforced floors, seams and zippers. These Lightweight tents include a full-coverage storm fly and vestibule to get you through rainy nights in comfort. With our Souris River Kevlar We-no-nah 4 Canoes - it'll be a pleasure to paddle as you "feel the glide" whether on the water or portaging at only 39-45 lbs.

Quality Grey Owl straight or bent shaft wood paddles and Lightweight sleeping bags (stuffed into compression sacks to reduce bulk), allows us to cut down weight and pack size or even eliminate extra packs you'll have to carry across portages.
