Food is an important part of everyone's life, but when you're in the wilderness it takes on elevated meaning. Plenty of good food to fuel your fire means you'll be making the most of your northwoods visit. That's why with Outdoor Adventures Deluxe and Ultralight packages we'll start you off with fresh New York Strip Steaks, Boneless Pork Chops, or Skinless, Boneless Chicken Fillets. (Vegetarian menus are available on request).

Homemade Limpa bread, shaved ham, roast beef, hot dogs, cheddar brats, summer sausage, hard salami, thick bacon, homemade trail cookies, and fresh cheeses are just a sample of the other options you'll have to choose from. With a little bit of skill and maybe even some luck you'll also be able to try our famed fish batter, our own recipe we mix up right here.

All the freeze-dried meals available today leave you plenty of choices come meal time. At Outdoor Adventure we are constantly trying new entrees and food lines to add to our menu. There is a little something for every taste out there, and nobody should be bored come meal time.

We have personally approved every meal that goes on our menu, some old standbys and some new items, that are sure to make your taste buds come alive. These meals are sure to have you going back to the fire for seconds. We understand that good food is an important part of your wilderness excursion!
